Girl Scout Winter Geocachers
Scouts will explore the 775 acre Preserve while navigating themselves with hand held GPS units. This 2 mile long treasure hunt will teach team work, survival, and introduce a new silent sport. Snowshoes are welcome if there is snow on the ground!
Cost is $6/scout. Prepayment and registration is required by November 30TH.
Saturday February 16th 2013 9-11am
Boy Scout XC Ski Clinic
Scouts will learn the basics of XC skiing with an hour long lesson followed by a ski through the Preserve. Cost is $8/scout which includes XC Ski equipment. Please dress for the weather! Prepayment and Registration is REQUIRED by February 12th 2013.
Can't make it that day? No worries schedule your girlscout or boyscout group another time depending on staff availability. Minimum charges will apply to all groups who schedule a naturalist program.
