Citizen Science coming to Bubolz!

Citizen Science is coming to the Bubolz Nature Preserve! Citizen science is the involvement of the public in scientific research – whether community driven research or global investigations.  Bubolz Nature Preserve aims to increase the amount of active citizen naturalists in the area with the release of citizen science-based programs. “Citizen Science: Frog & Toad Surveys” will kick-off the citizen science programming on July 18th.   Program attendees will learn about frogs and toads before heading out into the preserve to collect their data, guided by one of Bubolz’s naturalists.  Upcoming programs include Firefly Counts and Monarch Tagging.
