Bubolz weather policy is to cancel events & equipment rentals if the temperature is above 100° or below 0° with the wind chill.
We will be sending out an e-mail regarding the rescheduling of Brewski to all individuals who have signed up.
BREWSKI IS BACK
Brewski 2021 is happening, although things will look a little different this year. We are still being cautious with people gathering and the safety of our guests and staff. How will Brewski work this year? This year you will pre-register for 1 of 4 time slots, which will help us limit the number of people at the preserve at a time. Each ticket will get you a ski/snowshoe rental, a raffle ticket for our “Winter Survival” Package donated by REI and a 6 pack of specialty beers to take home!
Wisconsin Distributors is working with us to put together a sensational 6 pack of winter beers. Unfortunately due to safety concerns this year, we will not be tasting on site. We will be handing your 6 pack to you as you leave and ask that you enjoy them in the safety of your own home. If you are not a beer drinker, you can choose a bottle of wine instead when you purchase your ticket.
Time Slots will be 5:00, 6:00, 7:00 & 8:00. You will purchase either a Ski, Snowshoe or Hike/ I Have my own Equipment ticket. Please note that skis and snowshoes are NOT on the safe trail. If coming with a group it is recommended to all pick the same equipment if you would like to be on the trails together. Due to limiting the number of people registering you will not be able to switch the day of the event.
YOU MUST BE 21+ YEARS OF AGE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT
What is in the REI “Winter Survival” Package?
– Flash 22 Backpack
– Camp Blanket
– Bubolz Nature Preserve Winter Knit Hat
– 2 Flexlite Camp Chairs
– Soft Sided 24 Can Cooler
– 2 Stainless Steel Mugs with Covers
– Bottle of Kahlua
Safety is still our main concern. We are requiring masks inside of our building and are doing our best to keep people socially distanced. We are sanitizing equipment between uses. Join us for the fun we can have in 2021. Our goal is to be able to have Brewski back in it’s normal capacity in 2022.
*If there is inclement weather and we are unable to ski/snowshoe on February 12th each registered participant with receive a voucher to come back and ski/snowshoe on another day of their choice. We will still light up the trails that night and you will be able to participate in a candlelight hike!
