Join us for a morning hike as we step back in time and explore the history of Maple Syrup Season in Wisconsin. Scouts will learn the history of maple syrup and how it is done today. Scouts will get a chance to see the process from start to finish including tapping a tree, seeing it cooking, and sampling the finished product over ice cream. Designed for Grades K and up – this hike will mainly be designed for a fun patch (not included at this time) but can cover some requirements for the Cadette Tree Badge.
Cost: $8 per scout or sibling, free for parents. Register by calling the preserve at (920)731-6041 or email Courtney at [email protected]
