Need For Nature Campaign
Calling all little nature lovers! Bubolz Kids Adventure Series is a monthly program that will introduce children to nature and give them a new adventure every month. Kids will explore the outdoors and have a blast with our hands-on learning approach. The series will inspire a love and curiosity of the outdoors as kiddos explore 10 unique topics including winter survival, cross country skiing, maple syrup, geocaching, hiking, tracks & scat, froggin’ and more!
Ages: 6-12 yrs – children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult
Pay per session – see costs in each program description. There are no refunds for cancellations; substitutes are permitted. Refunds will be issued for programs cancelled by Bubolz due to low registration.
Sept 5 – Nature Senses
During a hike, kids will focus on using their senses of sight, touch, smell, and hearing to discover the different aspects of the preserve.
Oct 9 – Night Hike
Come and explore the nature preserve in a whole new way. Discover the sights, sounds, and beauty of nature at night as we go for a hike through our prairies and forests. Please no light up shoes.
Nov 7 – Earth’s Elements
Earth, Sun, Air, and Water. Kids will learn about the four elements that shape our planet. We will explore the preserve, complete an experiment, and create a craft.
Dec 5 – Winter Crafts
Kids will be able to put their creative skills to the test, using natural materials from the preserve and a little imagination to create some holiday crafts. Enjoy hot cocoa and get creative!
