There are no refunds for cancellations; substitutes are permitted. Refunds will be issued for programs cancelled by Bubolz due to low registration.
Summer Solstice Kickoff Celebration
June 21st, 2025 | 9:00am – 12:00 pm
Kickoff the Summer by Celebrating the Summer Solstice with your family! This event will include various fun & educational activities such as catching insects at the prairie and pond, educational booths, and presentations from local Wildlife groups and rescues. Additionally, we will have games set up for kiddos to win prizes while enjoying popcorn or ice cream with maple syrup, and the official start of the summer season!

Please consider bringing cash to participate in J&R’s Birthday party giveaway games and/or to donate to any of the organizations attending.
Ticketing Information:
Tickets will be available for purchase by arrival time, with an assigned presentation time. W.O.W. will present a 1-hour presentation at 9am and 11am, so please make sure to check the ticketing time that you signed up for.
Firefly Exploration
June 13th, 2025 | 8:00 – 9:30 pm
Explore the preserve during the evening hours! We will learn about the fascinating little bugs that light up our summer nights. Then we’ll go on a night hike throughout the preserve searching for fireflies and other creatures that are active at night.
(There is no guarantee that we will see fireflies.)
One ticket per household.

Join us for an evening at the preserve. We will learn about the frogs and toads found here with an indoor presentation. Then we will go pond dipping in search of frogs, tadpoles, and water insects.
Each program date includes the same activities.
One ticket needed per household.
