Environmental Education
Bubolz Nature Preserve provides an abundance of environmental education opportunities for individuals and groups of all ages.
Bubolz school programs are tailored to enhance your curriculum with experience rich content. Plan your trip as a self-guided group or participate in grade-specific field trip programs for kindergarteners through high school seniors. Environmental adventures are also available for home school education.
Bubolz offers nature camps in the summer and winter. Various summer camp sessions are available for children aged 4-12. Whether there’s snow or not, our winter camp, held over winter break, also provides many opportunities for environmental activities and to explore the preserve throughout the year.
Many Girl Scout Troops enjoy visiting Bubolz to earn merit badges with our existing scout clinics or by working with our naturalist to develop your own program.
Bubolz provides environmental education for families and adults through our public programs. From Spring into Nature and Fun in Fall to Wonders of Winter and Bubolz Family Explorers, check out our calendar for upcoming program dates.
As part of our environmental education, Bubolz is committed to teaching about good stewardship through sustainable practices. Our specially-designed sustainability programs include a Sustainability Series, renewable energy programs, and additional environmental outreach opportunities for school-aged children.
