Junior Naturalists
Program Details:
This is a monthly afterschool drop-off program, running 6 months of the year designed for ages 13-16.
Classes will vary topics based on season and will be both indoor and outdoor. This program is designed to supplement science curriculum and encourage learning outside of the classrooms for students interested in STEAM.
This program will give students hands-on time to explore various topics and habitats, while learning what it means to be a naturalist. Whether your student loves being outside, is thinking about a career in the natural sciences, or aged-out of our Homeschool and Camp programs, this is a great fit for all!
This program will require students to assist with 2 event or volunteer land management days, outside of class meeting times. Students will also be required to create an “end of the year” project to show off on the final day during Junior Naturalist Dinner with family.
Class times are:
The first Tuesday of each Month, 4:00pm-6:00 pm.
Cost:
$120 / student for 6- 2 hour sessions, and a white Bubolz t-shirt.
Registration for the Junior Naturalist Program is Here:
There are no refunds for cancellations. Refunds will be issued for programs cancelled by Bubolz due to low registration. Minimum number of students required to run this program is 10.
