This is a bimonthly drop-off program, which meets from Thursday, September 8th, 2022 to May 18, 2023 for a total of 18 classes. Class times are 9 – 11am or 1 – 3pm. The classes are designed for students ages 5 to 12. Classes will vary topics based on season and will be both indoor and outdoor. This program is designed to supplement science curriculum and will be taught by knowledgeable naturalists and volunteers. Cost: $145/student for 18 classes We do accept payment from virtual schools. Mighty Oaks (Ages 10-12) Come and explore the best of Bubolz at this summer camp! Campers will go pond dipping searching for frogs and tadpoles, hunt for insects in the prairie, do some teambuilding activities with fellow campers, create crafts, play games, and go on a nature hike. Cost: Members: $120 Non-members: $140 There are no refunds for cancellations, unless notified at least one month before the start of camp. Mighty Oaks (Ages 10-12) This camp is for ultimate adventure seeker! During this week campers will get a chance to experience a variety of outdoor activities including archery, fishing, shelter building, and building fires. And on the final day, campers will end with a camp dinner. Saplings (Ages 7-9) Campers will roll up their sleeves as they become grossologists, studying all things ooey goey throughout the preserve. We will turn over logs, dig in the mud, and go pond dipping searching for creepy crawlies such as worms, tadpoles, frogs, and insects, learning about their unique adaptations throughout the week. Saplings (Ages 7-9) Using nature as their muse, campers will create their very own masterpiece! We will learn about different forms of art found in nature, how we can use nature as our canvas, and explore unique natural spaces.
