Camp FAQs
Camp FAQs!
We often get asked a lot of questions about our camps offered here at Bubolz, so we hope this can clear any questions up & help prep you and your camper(s) for our camp adventures!
How do I get 15% off my camp purchase? When do I use it?
If you become a member at Bubolz (family member or above) you will be eligible for 15% off your camp purchase. This code will be emailed to you when member registration opens – you will not get the code beforehand. When you select your camps, there will be a place to enter the code at checkout*.
*Using the member code at checkout is the purchaser’s responsibility. Refunds are not given if you forgot to enter the code.
What does a half-day vs full-day of Sprouts camp mean?
Our Sprouts camps are available as half-day or full-day options due to it being our youngest age group! We understand it can be hard for some littles to be away for a full day, so we have the half-day option as an opportunity to still participate in our summer camps!
What is a lunch ticket?
A lunch ticket is required when registering your child for a full day of Sprouts Camp. Morning camp runs from 9:00–11:30 AM, and afternoon camp runs from 12:30–3:00 PM. The lunch ticket covers the hour between sessions (11:30 AM–12:30 PM) for lunch and recess.
You may also purchase a lunch ticket without registering for a full day if you would like your child to stay for lunch and recess. If your child is registered for a full day but you do not purchase a lunch ticket, you are responsible for supervising them during the 11:30 AM–12:30 PM break.
One lunch ticket is required per child for each full week of Sprouts Camp.
Is lunch provided?
Lunch is NOT provided by Bubolz. Please send your child with a lunch if they are attending a full-day of camp. Lunch is held outside with staff supervision if weather allows.
Can siblings attend camp together if they are different ages?
We have a strict age policy for our camps, due to activities in each camp being geared towards the appropriate age group. Siblings within the same age group are more than welcome to sign up together! If they are not in the same age group, you must sign them up in their age appropriate camps.
Are staff trained in first-aid?
Yes, at least two staff members are certified in first-aid and CPR for adults and children. All staff carry first-aid supplies and cell phones in case of emergency. Lead camp teachers always carry the camper’s emergency contact information.
Will I get an email with more camp information after registering?
Regardless of the camp season, any camp you registered for will include an email that gets sent out a week prior to the first day of camp. Please double check your email when registering to ensure there are no spelling mistakes!
