Group Programs
Group Programs at Bubolz
Private guided hikes and walks are a great way to get out on the preserve and dive into the Bubolz ecosystem! We have many program areas we can focus on, or we can develop one to fit your group’s needs, interest, and mobility level. These programs are perfect for retirement groups, birthday parties, private events wanting to explore more of Bubolz.
Cost:
Group programs cost a normal field trip fee, $3.50/person with a $75 minimum to host the program
Topics:
Animals of Bubolz – 1 Hr
Learn about the animals that call Bubolz home, and their behaviors depending on the season! Feel pelts, skulls, and go on a hike to search for animal signs.
Wisconsin Wildflowers & Pollinators – 1 Hr
Explore our prairies and what flowers are native to Wisconsin! We will also discuss pollinators and the important role they play in our ecosystem.
Around the Pond – 1 Hr
Use nets to go pond dipping to see what critters are living in our pond! This program can be adapted so no nets are needed. We will also learn about different types of frog species and turtles that live in our ponds.
Bubolz Birds – 1 Hr
Hike with binoculars to spot the various bird species around Bubolz and learn their calls. We will also have bird biofacts to view up close of some of our more popular birds!
