Join Bubolz Nature Preserve on Saturday, March 21, 2020 to celebrate maple syrup season! Maple Syrup Saturday is a family event that showcases the Preserve’s sugarbushes and provides a hands on learning experience about the methods of harvesting sap and processing it for bottling and eating. Kick off the morning with a delicious pancake and porkie breakfast and enjoy the taste of homemade maple syrup. Next, you will enjoy a hike to the sugarbush and guided tour of the maple syrup making process in the Sugar Shack. Your maple syrup experience ends with an ice cream sundae topped with with fresh syrup!

Take your love of maple syrup to the next level by Adopting a Maple Tree. By adopting a Maple you are supporting the environmental education we offer at Bubolz. When you adopt a maple you will receive a personalized bucket with your family name or company logo that will be used throughout our maple syrup season for sap collection. You will also receive 4 tickets to attend Maple Syrup Saturday.

Hike and Tour
Tours of the Preserve’s syrup producing process begin with a hike in the woods for a look at the sugarbush. Learn how sap is collected and processed with a tour of the Sugar Shack.
Tours offered from 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. (No preregistration needed to attend only the tour without breakfast)

$3/children ages 4 – 12.
Children under 3 years and Bubolz Nature Preserve Members are Free.
