Bubolz Nature Preserve announced Richard Louv will speak at it’s Grand Opening Celebration and Earth Day Festival on Sunday, April 22, 2018. Richard Louv is a journalist and author of nine books, including Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children From Nature-Deficit Disorder, The Nature Principle: Reconnecting with Life in a Virtual Age, and most recently Vitamin N: The Essential Guide to a Nature-Rich Life: 500 Ways to Enrich Your Family’s Health & Happiness. 2018 Dog Sledding Dates Announced

DOG SLEDDING DATES ANNOUNCED! Join Jim Feyen and his dogs for a dog sled ride on Saturday, January 6 or Saturday, January 13.  There will be 2 sessions offered per day (10am and 12:30pm). Chili and Hot Chocolate will be included. Children under 8 must ride with an adult. Cost: $25/rider or $10/observer (additional credit card fees will apply). Registration is now open for the Adventures in Nature Summer Camps at Bubolz Preserve.  Campers will have fun, connect with nature, and make friends through outdoor exploration, hands-on activities, games, and crafts. Maple Syrup Saturday Date Announced

On Saturday, April 8 join us for a Pancake and Porkie breakfast served in the Girl Scout service center at 8:30, 9:00, and 9:30am.  $9.00/Adult; $6.00/Children ages 4 – 12; Children 3 and under are FREE.  Price includes a tour of the sugarbush following breakfast.  Reservations required for breakfast as space is limited. Tours of the Preserve’s syrup producing process begin with a hike in the woods for a look at the sugarbush.  Learn about the methods of harvesting sap and see the final processing for bottling and eating.  After your tour, enjoy a taste of fresh maple syrup served…

Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve announces plans for upgraded facility

Bubolz Nature Preserve announced today the construction of a new environmental center. The 18,000 square-foot facility, with an estimated cost of $4 million, is set to be completed in 2017, pending approval by the Town of Grand Chute.
