Citizen Science is coming to the Bubolz Nature Preserve! Citizen science is the involvement of the public in scientific research – whether community driven research or global investigations.  Bubolz Nature Preserve aims to increase the amount of active citizen naturalists in the area with the release of citizen science-based programs.

“Citizen Science: Frog & Toad Surveys” will kick-off the citizen science programming on July 18th.   Program attendees will learn about frogs and toads before heading out into the preserve to collect their data, guided by one of Bubolz’s naturalists.  Upcoming programs include Firefly Counts and Monarch Tagging.

The events cost $3/person and $10/person for members. Non-member costs are $5/person and $15/person.

All events will be held at the Bubolz Nature Preserve 4815 N Lynndale Drive Appleton, Wisconsin. To register to one of these events, contact the preserve by calling (920)731-6041. You can also visit the website at www.bubolzpreserve.org
